The Pool Table King’s Blog
We took a short drive down to Laguna Niguel, California for a pool table refelting service, This solid oak 9′ Goldenwest Tiburon II received a much needed burst of color after countless years of Cadet Blue felt. The old cloth was so faded and worn, it looks as though it were Bankers Gray. But once the rails are off, it’s true color became visible.
The new Burgundy felt looks great and gives this old tournament sized pool table some personality. The deep red color is traditional, yet bold. It is not as safe and neutral as Camel, but isn’t too far out of most people’s color safety zone. It’s easy to get some great ideas for cloth colors using our online felt color chart. It’s even better if you can visit the showroom to get the most accurate samples.
