What’s The Best Felt Color For My Pool Table?

Aug 17, 2011

Here is a seven-foot white washed oak pool table we recently refelted for my client in Dana Point, CA. The pool table formerly had Cadet Blue cloth on it, but my client decided it was time to change things up a bit. She purchased this seven-foot World of Leisure pool table about 13 years ago and hadn’t changed the billiard cloth until now. She found us online and after seeing all of our felt color choices, decided on either Camel or Khaki. On the day of her appointment, I decided to surprise her by throwing an extra bolt of cloth in the van before heading down to her beach house. She was pleasantly surprised to see the colors in person versus seeing them on our website. She actually chose the Taupe color over her original two choices (Camel & Khaki), because it brought out more of the darker wood grain on her whitewashed oak pool table.

We highly recommend visiting us at our Orange County pool table service center to see all of our felt colors in person. We even have billiard cloth color charts that you can take with you so that you may make the final decision in your home. There are clients of ours that may not be able to visit us in person, but if they can narrow their choices to two or three felt colors, we’ll usually oblige them by bringing the large bolts of cloth with us on the day of the appointment.
