We have seen some interesting things come through our door, but this one wins the prize. A customer brought his pool table rails into the shop on Saturday, asking if we could fix them. We said sure, no problem, but how did this happen? He went on to tell us that his dog climbed up on his pool table and started chewing on the felt part of the rails. Maybe his dog thought the rubber cushions smelled like a chew toy?? Regardless of what caused the chewing incident the pool table cushions and felt needed to be fixed. He unbolted the pool table rails and detached the leather pockets from underneath the table, then unbolted the pockets from the rails and brought them to be repaired. Luckily we have Cadet Blue felt in stock, so we should have a pretty close match to the felt that’s covering the slate. We should probably include a doggie chew toy with this pool table repair job. 🙂
